Our meticulous puppy raising philosophy
At G.R.I.T.S, we believe in a foundational start for every puppy. Our Red Golden Retriever puppies are carefully raised and handled in clean, warm environments from day one. We regularly use cleaning and sanitizing solutions that are safe for newborns, ensuring a pristine and nurturing space. A clean, quiet area is paramount for raising healthy, thriving puppies.
Socialization for well-rounded companions
Our puppies are nurtured in diverse environments, interacting with children, adults, and various farm animals. They also experience valuable exposure to other adult Golden Retrievers. These rich social interactions ensure that your new puppy is well-rounded, confident, and ready to adapt seamlessly to your new home.
Advanced early development programs
What sets G.R.I.T.S apart is our commitment to early development. We implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) from days 3 to 16, gently introducing controlled stimulations to enhance neurological development, immune systems, cardiovascular health, and stress resilience. Additionally, our Early Scent Introduction (ESI) program, also from days 3 to 16, sharpens scent detection and response, promoting confidence and adaptability.
Preparing for a confident future
As puppies' ears open around day 14, we begin sound training and desensitization. We gradually introduce everyday noises like thunder, sirens, chirping birds, and vacuums, ensuring our puppies grow into confident companions, unafraid of common household and environmental sounds. This comprehensive approach prepares them for a lifetime of calm and well-adjusted living.
